My piece for the Writing Challenge Build Your Own is a humorous look at a past pain.

It’s a big world out there,
Yet you’re in my city.
Long ago, we loved true,
Now every memory shitty.

Once you were a great man,
Turned false and insincere.
You promised me the world,
Gave a future unclear.

Happiness turned bitter.
My love rotted like meat.
Feelings might confuse you,
Not caring, a great feat.

I wasted years on you.
I’ll never get them back.
You were always a drag,
Especially in the sack.
